Scanning for birds at Brandywine Park in Wilmington at the 2024 Black Birders Week event.

Join Outdoor Afro-Delaware, Delaware Nature Society, Delaware Ornithological Society, and Delaware Audubon for the 3rd Annual Black Birders Week bird walk, to be held this year at Middle Run Valley Natural Area in Newark. We will be meeting at 4:00 pm in the main Middle Run Valley Natural Area parking lot at the end of the gravel road, the mapping coordinates of 39.71573, -75.72340.

Wear hiking boots, if possible; otherwise sturdy shoes. Bring water and snacks. All ages are welcome. Binoculars will be available for those who need them.
