Anyone can become a member of the Delaware Audubon Society.

Mission/Purpose

Delaware Audubon focuses on advocacy and programming specific to environmental and legislative issues affecting birds and their natural habitats throughout Delaware, the Delaware Bay and its Coastal Zone. Delaware is an important environment for over 400 native and migratory bird species, some populations of which are considered threatened or endangered. We exist to protect and preserve the ecosystems of all birds Delaware plays host to.

Delaware Audubon also sponsors public programs, school education, and conservation grants. Along with the citizen members of our state, we undertake hands-on conservation work.
