2025 Conservation Grants Now Open for Application

For the past two years, the Delaware Audubon Society has offered conservation grants in support of its mission. Grant awardees are either individuals or groups wishing to conduct habitat improvements, local scientific research, or environmental education/outreach within Delaware. Examples of past projects include radio-tracking devices on Wood Thrushes, construction and installation of nest boxes throughout New Castle County, Wood Duck and Purple Martin research, research on the habitat conditions for caterpillars upon which many birds feed, research on the ecological importance of Delaware Bay coastal barrier islands and near-shore habitats to migratory songbirds, and more.

The Delaware Audubon Society is proud to announce that its 2025 Conservation Grant application term is now open. Grants are offered in two tiers, and range in value from $500 - $1500 for Tier 1 and $1500 - $3000 for Tier 2. The Audubon Society is accepting applications between now and March 31, 2025, with award announcements being released on April 20, 2025.
