Bird Food Relief Fund, Winter 2020-2021

To help Delaware Audubon Society members keep their bird feeders stocked during these trying economic times (especially during this irruption season for finches and other winter visitors), DAS has established a Bird Food Relief Fund.

Delaware Audubon members are eligible for a 50% reimbursement (up to $50) on the purchase of bird seed or other bird food, such as suet or worms. Members can purchase up to $100 in commercial bird food (seed, suet, worms, etc.) from their favorite retailer and then send us the receipt. We will then mail a check matching 50% of the purchase (up to $50).

  • This will be available on a first come, first-served basis for the first 100 DAS members who apply during the eligiblity period.

  • This offer is limited to current DAS members in good standing.

  • Non-members are encouraged to join DAS as paying members, and will then become eligible.

  • Offer limited to first 100 requests received

  • Limit one reimbursement (up to $50 matching fund) per individual DAS member or member household

  • Purchase must be made between December 5, 2020, and April 30, 2021. However, members are encouraged to submit requests as soon as possible to be one of the first 100 participants.

  • Announcement of closure of program (when we reach 100 participants) will be announced on the DAS website and on our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram)
